USA - COLORADO - Denver Union Train Station + Amtrak Trains
Did NOT know Denver Union Train Station is newly reno'd (by The Crawford Hotel inside it !). Super cute hang out and shop/eat space !
And then there's the awesome Amtrak train from Denver to Chicago I opted for - if you were getting your winter flights cancelled left and right (even the rebookings !), you, too, would opt for alternative travel to see your ailing mother and family in Missouri and Memphis !
So by way of American TRAINs it was - such a fantastic experience !
My train route was DEN - CHIC, then CHIC to MISSOURI (Poplar Bluff).
I was really happy with the comfy, super affordable Economy seat I had (comes with fully reclining feature, plug outlet for recharging all devices, drop table, foot rest, window seat with curtain, multiple cabin storage spaces, easy access to restrooms, access to lounges, lounge cafe, observation decks, dining car - all fantastic !
Next time I do long hauls, I would love to try a comfy private sleeper car for sure !

To help us cope with the loss of our dearest Uncle Raymond, some of us enjoyed some leisurely local sites and attractions.
It was a beautiful time to return to the Rondine piles just outside LV - and it was really nourishing to visit with family doing fun 'togetherness' memory making things.

When we dance locally for each other in emotional support, it's an entirely different realm of expression and giving versus for show presentation (that we also love).

Of all the times I've visited this museum, this was the first time I visited the, 'Invisible Worlds' exhibition.
I, like the fun loving rambunctious wee little kids running around in there, found sheer joy in the midst of the final section's immersive video installation.

That's how many nations I've visited - either for study, work, residing, or just for plain ol' joyous curiosity to goof off.
And with all that past and present experience under my belt, it's no surprise that I have opted to moonlight as a premier Travel Advisor recently in life.
Makes sense that I am.

1. The JOYS of TRAVEL;
2. The actual REALISTIC, EXPERIENCED tediously detailed specificities (that may NOT prove so joyful to prepare for).
I offer BOTH forms of info to help allay any troubling ambiguities in travel planning, and to offer FIRSTHAND and documented experiences that can hopefully dispel as many myths possible.
Surely, my FAM (or familiarization) TRIPS will feature here, but so will my own personal/professional and fun trips - every little bit of data/info helps a traveler!
Know that I plan on visiting many more countries, and even all of the same ones to locate spots and gain experiences that are new to me there. Hopefully, these of mine will be helpful to you.
Also feel warmly welcomed to travel for sheer rest toward Mental Health Wellness. In a past life of mine, I, too, worked the 9-to-5 grind and also enjoyed the luxury of world travel that came with. HOWEVER, even rest from that whole scene is essential - and I took it upon myself to truly REST, and travel differently - and even not far at all, more calmly, and with far more simplicity in mind.
Should you need some travel recommendations to, 'escape' from a chaotic life (paired with travel!), be confident that I know firsthand what that entails having once taken a lengthy break myself from all the typical career & travel perks 'noise' nausea burnout.
